Wow! What a beautiful day on Saturday for Laura & Si’s Thornton Manor Wedding! The long range forecast had looked iffy, then okay, then iffy again – we really didn’t know what we were going to get….and we got glorious sunshine! Yes!

So we started off at Ali & Tim’s house (Laura’ sister & brother in law) where Laura was getting ready…

On to St Vincent’s in Altrincham for the service…

…Where a lot of kids were stealing the show…!!!

A quick blast down the M56 to Thornton Manor…

Laura & Si had put some great personal touches into their day, including these Hen & Stag photo frames which were situated in the ladies & gents respectively!  (Yes, I was allowed in the ladies to get a photograph of it!)

GREAT afternoon with the very gorgeous & lovely Selina & Mike today up at Lyme Park! A beautiful, blustery autumnal day (Selina was very brave with her hair!) – perfect for an afternoon strolling through Lyme Park’s magnificent setting.

So it was one of those typically Manchester-y autumnal days yesterday for Laura & Simon’s pre-wedding shoot…. breezy, bright, then pelting down with rain, then bright again, then more rain… you get the picture! But we were ready for it, Laura & Simon were up for it and we shot some really cool stuff around Beech Road in Chorlton! Here’s a little sneak preview to really get them warmed up ahead of their big day at Thornton Manor on Saturday…

What a lovely little write up about Lisa & Alex’s ‘2 People 1 Life’ world tour in Look magazine! I was lucky enough to be involved in the very first wedding that kicked off their adventure back in June, so it’s nice to see my images are still doing the rounds and ending up in nice glossy mags!

What a great morning today in Blackpool with the loveliest couple you could wish to meet! I’m SOOOOOOO excited about Hayley & Matthew’s wedding after chatting about all the amazing details & ideas that are going to be happening AND after the most awesome pre-wedding shoot – these guys were properly up for it! Changes of clothes were brought along and everything!

Hayley really wanted to use Blackpool for their pre-wedding shoot, as she’s from around that neck of the woods originally and they both love the mirrorball and wanted to make a feature of it – so that’s exactly what we did! Here’s a cheeky first look at this gorgeous couple…!!!

AMAZING night last night! My cousin Jeff & his gorgeous fiance Angela got married yesterday (woo!) and I made it over to York from yesterday’s wedding adventure in time for the last couple of hours which involved karaoke (”Alright Stop, collaborate & listen!”) jager bombs, illegal Boddingtons and drinking prosecco from the bottle on the dance floor – all in the name of catching up!

When Jeff & Ange told me they were getting married & told me the date, I was gutted I was already booked for a wedding (although it was a totally gorgeous wedding!) and wouldn’t be able to celebrate their day with them, but I swore blind that I would be there for the last couple of hours of the night do to raise a glass with them.

They also very kindly said they would have asked me to shoot their special day had I been available (Jeff’s more mate than cousin – he was an usher at my wedding, we’ve grown up together since we were kids and Emma & I feel very lucky that we have such good friends in Jeff & Ange (since we met Ange on our wedding day nearly 4 years ago!)

So I asked them if they would like me to grab a couple of images of them the next day, seeing as though I would be coming directly from a wedding & would have my kit with me anyway…

So this morning, we met up with them at their gorgeous venue, Villa Farm near York, and shot some stuff…here’s a little sneak peek…(check out Ange’s AMAZING Charlotte Balbier gown, exclusively from The White Closet too!)

Congratulations you two!  World record for how many times we’ve seen you this year already!  And we’ve still got our Christmas meet up to go!

Hottest 1st October on record?!  I don’t think any of us were expecting that!  But if anyone deserved a beautiful day for their wedding it’s Kate & Colin – one of the loveliest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and work with.  I knew it was going to be a special day the very first time I sat down with Kate & Colin and heard all about their plans.  The venue, the details, the friends and family – it was always going to be a belter!

So a little sneak preview of their very special day at The Grange Hotel…

Just before Katie came down the aisle, the registrar reminded everyone to turn off their phones – much to Colin’s relief as he’d left his on!!!

At the end of the ceremony Kate & Colin read a poem that they had penned especially for their wedding day – there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

The details at Katie & Colin’s wedding were endless – this frame contained all the rsvp’s to their wedding that they had asked their guests to be creative with – what an amazing keepsake…

The seating plan was made up of the place names of all the places Kate & Col had visited on their honeymoon (that’s right, they honeymooned before their wedding!)

The speeches had everything!  I seriously had to tune out a couple of times as I was running the risk of having ’something in my eye’…
